GAPKI said Indonesian CPO output has been stagnant at 48 to 51 million tons per year while biodiesel demand rose above 12 million tons. Implementing B50 would raise biodiesel demand to about 16 million tons, reducing exports and export levy revenue.
With flat production, a B50 mandate would sharply cut available palm oil for export, tightening global vegetable oil supply and supporting palm and soyoil prices.
