China has imported 26.2 million tonnes of corn so far in 2021, up 236% from 2020, with most supply from the U.S. Chicago corn fell in the week on profit taking despite better-than-expected export inspections. The analysis forecasts Chicago corn at $4.50-5.00 per bushel for 2021/22.
Heavy Chinese corn buying supports U.S. export demand and firm corn prices. Analysts expect prices to hold above the forecast range.
