China set its 2023 tariff-rate import quotas for wheat, corn and rice at the same levels as 2022, with wheat at 9.636 million tonnes, corn at 7.2 million tonnes and rice at 5.32 million tonnes. The cotton quota was set at 894,000 tonnes.
Unchanged quotas signal steady allowed Chinese grain imports, so the notice has limited price impact on feed grains.
