The April 10 WASDE raised 2024-25 U.S. corn exports by 100 million bushels on strong sales pace and competitive prices, cutting ending stocks by 75 million bushels to 1.5 billion. The report noted China bought 3 million tons of U.S. soybeans, possibly not reflected in the estimates.
Higher export demand and lower ending stocks are supportive for U.S. corn prices, while the soybean purchase adds modest demand support.
