A Ukrainian deputy prime minister said a cargo vessel left Chornomorsk after loading grain, following the collapse of the Russia-brokered deal. The bulk carriers Resilient Africa and Aroyat were due to load almost 20,000 metric tons of wheat for Africa and Asia.
Small resumed shipments from Ukraine provide some alternative supply, modestly easing wheat price pressure created by the loss of the export corridor.
