Argentine soybean crushing reached 3.90 million tons in August, 20.8% above August 2024, according to official data. The imported share of crush fell to 10.0% from 17.2% a year earlier, and imports came almost entirely from Paraguay.
Stronger crush demand supports domestic soybean use and the meal and oil output that follows. Recovering oil and meal prices improved processing margins, which supports bean prices.
