IBGE's July survey estimates Brazil's 2025 grain, legume and oilseed crop at a record 340.5 million tonnes, up 16.3% from 2024. Soybeans are estimated at 165.5 million tonnes and corn at 137.6 million tonnes, both records, with harvested area up 2.7%.
A record Brazilian soybean and corn crop increases export availability and competition in world markets, which is bearish for both prices. Feed ingredient costs could ease as a result.
