Irish grain prices rose further as weather and demand concerns reduced expected oversupply. Imported maize rose 10 euros per tonne to about 215 euros per tonne, and co-op green barley and wheat prices firmed.
Paris MATIF futures still showed declines in forward positions.
Weather-related concerns for next year's crops and firmer imported feed prices support domestic feed grain values in Ireland and the EU. Forward curves remain weaker, so further gains for distant delivery are limited.
