Natural gas futures rose over 1% on Nov 2, 2017 to about $2.94 per MMBtu as the dollar index fell. The EIA reported a 65 bcf storage build for the week ending October 27, slightly above analyst expectations of 63 bcf.
A storage build above expectations is mildly bearish for gas, but the gain in futures reflects a weaker dollar. Limited direct effect on feed commodities.
