The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index fell to its lowest since August after the Fed held rates steady and signaled the end of its tightening cycle. Group-of-10 currencies and Asian currencies, including the won and baht, all gained on the dollar.
A weaker dollar and expectations of lower rates tend to support dollar-priced commodities and make imports cheaper for emerging-market feed buyers.
