Louis Dreyfus is opening a grain export terminal at the Russian Black Sea port of Azov, near the mouth of the Don River. The facility will have 50,000 tonnes of silo capacity and serve vessels up to 5,000 tonnes, and it is the company's second Russian terminal announcement in recent months.
Added export handling capacity at a Russian Black Sea port eases logistics bottlenecks, which could help Russian grain reach buyers more readily and modestly add to export competition.
