The U.S. Grains Council worked one-on-one with a Saskatchewan feedlot to raise inclusion rates of U.S. DDGS, and the feedlot now takes several weekly deliveries of U.S. corn. Western Canada is becoming an important market again for U.S. DDGS as producers gain awareness of nutrient content.
Growing Canadian demand for U.S. DDGS and corn supports U.S. export volumes, though the effect on prices is modest given the scale described.
