Old and new crop sunflower prices fell the prior week as the US-China trade dispute weighed on the oilseed complex. The US imposed tariffs on $34 billion of Chinese goods, and China retaliated with duties on US soybeans, pork and cotton.
Broad oilseed weakness and extra tariffs on US soybeans reduce export demand and pressure sunflower and oilseed meal prices for feed buyers.
