U.S. ethanol exports totaled 89.9 million gallons in September, down 25% from August and the lowest monthly volume in a year, according to Renewable Fuels Association analysis of government data. Canada was the top customer, while undenatured fuel ethanol exports fell 45% to a 52-month low.
Softer export demand for ethanol and DDGS trims outlets for U.S. corn processing and co-products. Robust year-to-date volumes limit the bearish impact on corn prices.
