The Federal Reserve kept its rate range at 2.25% to 2.5% on March 20 and said it would not raise rates in 2019. It also said it will stop the balance sheet runoff starting in September, which pushed Treasury yields lower.
Lower US rates and a looser balance sheet weaken the dollar and support commodity prices, with a modest positive effect on feed-ingredient export demand.
