FranceAgriMer raised its 2019/20 forecast for French soft wheat exports outside the EU to 11.7 million tonnes from 11.0 million, about 14% above last season. Traders expect strong Moroccan demand and a chance to regain West African share from Black Sea suppliers.
A larger export pipeline from France adds supply to world wheat markets and competes with Russian and Ukrainian sales. Freight costs and a possible Russian export recovery could limit the gains.
