The Palm Oil Refiners Association of Malaysia said India's restriction on refined palm oil imports will cost Malaysia market share. The association expects Malaysia and Indonesia to compete on price for crude palm oil sales to India.
The restriction was issued as a notification that industry sources described as an effective ban.
