A federal judge in Mexico declared the 2020 presidential decree that would eliminate glyphosate and transgenic corn by 2024 unconstitutional. The injunction, granted on July 12 to Monsanto, says the decree lacks legal grounds and does not justify its health-risk claims.
The government has ten days to challenge the ruling before a collegiate circuit court.
