Russian wheat exports from Black Sea ports totaled 169,850 tonnes in the week ended May 21, down from 355,375 tonnes the previous week. Year-to-date May exports of 1.07 million tonnes were 68% below the same period in 2024.
Sharply lower Russian shipments remove supply from the world wheat market at a time of seasonal tightness, which supports wheat prices and raises feed grain replacement costs.
