The dollar fell more than 1% against major currencies after U.S. consumer price data showed inflation moderating further in October. The softer reading increased expectations that the Federal Reserve had finished raising interest rates.
A weaker dollar and lower rate expectations tend to support dollar-priced commodities and emerging-market currencies, while cheaper dollar funding can ease pressure on feed importers.
