Wood Mackenzie says US Henry Hub gas prices are rallying after a warm spell and a mid-November cold snap, with spot prices rising back to about $3/mcf. It forecasts 2017 Henry Hub at $3.70/mcf against a Nymex 2017 contract of $3.30, citing stalled L48 output and rising LNG exports.
Flat US production and growing LNG export demand point to tighter US gas balances, supporting higher Henry Hub prices and narrowing LNG export margins.
