Complex world of border trade: Cattle go north, meat south

Mexican rancher Lopez has for nearly 25 years shipped cattle north to the U.S. and imported beef into Mexico. He sends four to six trailers of young cows, three days a week, across the bridge to Pharr, Texas.

After USDA veterinary clearance, buyers from Texas, Arizona and as far as the Canadian border purchase the animals.
