India is seeking greater agricultural exports to China as Beijing diversifies its food imports during the trade war with the US. Indian officials reported progress on soybean meal and other products in talks with Chinese counterparts.
If Indian soybean meal gains access to China, it could partly replace US supply, but the volumes so far are small and the effect on prices is limited.
