DTN senior meteorologist Joel Burgio reports that Northern Hemisphere winter wheat prospects are mostly favorable, with dryness concerns in parts of north-central and southeast Europe. Above-normal temperatures are expected across Europe for the next 10 days, and the crop lacks snow cover.
Mostly favorable European wheat conditions with some dryness risk leave supply broadly ample, so the price impact is small but a spring drought in the EU could tighten feed wheat.
