Europe was the top destination for U.S. LNG for a third consecutive month. The European LNG benchmark traded at $37.36/mmBtu in the week reported, versus $27.59 in the same week of January.
Sustained European buying of U.S. LNG at high prices keeps export demand firm and supports U.S. gas prices, while any new shipping constraints would push prices higher.
