U.S. ethanol exports rose 16% month over month to 143.1 million gallons in February, 41% above a year earlier, with record undenatured fuel ethanol volumes to South Korea and Singapore. U.S. DDGS exports fell 20% to 870,844 metric tons, the lowest in five months, though Mexico remained the top buyer.
Lower DDGS export volumes reduce demand for a corn-based feed co-product, which can soften DDGS prices, while strong ethanol exports support corn grind and co-product output.
