CME lean hog futures neared a one-month high as expectations grew for higher U.S. pork exports. High pig prices in Europe are pushing global importers to shift purchases to the United States, where pig prices have been weaker.
Stronger export demand for U.S. pork supports hog prices and can increase demand for feed used in hog production.
