US ethanol exports in January fell 4% to 150.0 million gallons, with Canada remaining the largest destination and India hitting a three-year high. US DDGS exports slipped 9% to 902,376 mt, though Mexico regained its top DDGS customer spot and shipments rose to Vietnam, Japan, Colombia and China.
Steady DDGS export demand from Mexico and Asia supports feed-market prices for the co-product, while lower overall volumes limit upside. Ethanol export strength supports corn demand.
