UK wheat exports for 2024/25 are forecast at 175 kt, down 32% year on year and the lowest since at least 2000. UK feed wheat futures rose on a 0.9 Mt cut to Russia's export forecast by SovEcon and on US cold-weather crop concerns.
Rapeseed futures also gained.
Lower UK exports and a cut to Russian export forecasts tighten European feed supplies, supporting EU wheat and feed prices.
