The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index fell about 0.2% on Friday but still gained over 0.6% for the week, its biggest weekly gain since November. Markets saw only a modest reaction to the tariff ruling, and a new tariff plan clouded the outlook.
The new tariff plan adds uncertainty to US trade flows and dollar direction, which can affect export competitiveness for US farm goods. The price effect on commodities is currently small.
