The National Corn Growers Association is urging the US, Mexico and Canada to review and keep USMCA, citing about 1.8 billion bushels of annual corn demand. It says US corn exports to Mexico and Canada have risen to over $6.2 billion in value since the pact took effect in 2020.
This is an advocacy position that highlights the export demand at risk if USMCA is not renewed. It signals downside risk to corn export demand but does not itself change supply or prices.
