The U.S. Grains Council's 2024/25 Corn Harvest Quality Report projects the 2024 U.S. corn crop as the third largest on record, with the highest average yield on record. Samples showed lower broken corn and foreign material than in recent years, with 89.2% meeting all U.S. No. 1 grade requirements.
A record yield and a large crop of good quality increase domestic and export corn supplies, which points to softer corn prices and cheaper feed grain for buyers.
