The U.S. dollar index fell more than 0.1% on June 21, 2019 to 96.50, its lowest since June 7, extending losses for a third day. The 10-year Treasury yield fell to about 1.97%, its lowest since November 2016.
The dollar lost more than 0.9% over the week.
Falling Treasury yields and expectations of Fed cuts reduce the dollar's appeal and support dollar-priced commodities. The weekly dollar decline improves the relative cost of U.S. feed exports for foreign buyers.
