China began levying anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on US DDGS, with combined rates raised to 42.2% to 53.7%, up from the 33.8% deposit set in September. The duties follow a probe prompted by complaints from Chinese suppliers in November 2015.
Duties of this size make US DDGS largely uncompetitive in China, cutting a major export outlet and pushing DDGS prices lower in the US.
