USDA export inspections for the week ending October 26 showed 92.1 million bushels of soybeans, with China taking more than three-quarters. Corn inspections fell to 20.4 million bushels, below trade estimates, and wheat came in at the low end of expectations.
Strong soybean shipments to China support soybean prices, while weak corn and wheat inspections point to softer demand for those grains. Year-to-date soybean volume is still behind the 2016 pace.
