USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service reported private exporters sold 597,464 metric tons of corn for delivery to Mexico in the 2017/18 marketing year. Exporters also sold 132,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China.
Firm forward sales to Mexico and China support export demand for U.S. corn and soybeans. The volumes are routine for this period and unlikely to move prices much on their own.
