S&P Global analysed how logistical disruptions would affect phosphate fertilizer flows, estimating 2019 global demand at about 48.5 million tonnes of P2O5 content, or roughly 150 million tonnes of product. It converts this into weekly volumes to gauge the short-term impact of country-level disruptions.
