USDA's Quarterly Grain Stocks report revised 2020 soybean production up 81 million bushels on higher harvested acres, lifting old-crop carryout to 256 million bushels. Corn production was cut 71 million bushels, and corn ending stocks were lowered to 1.24 billion bushels.
The larger soybean carryout is bearish for soybean prices, and the corn production cut partly offsets that pressure on corn.
