Fern announced a webinar on 13 December 2022 about the EU deforestation-free products regulation agreed on 5 December. Topics included which commodities are covered and the impact on Indigenous peoples and smallholders.
Speakers included European Commission and NGO representatives from Brazil, Ghana and Indonesia.
The event mainly provides commentary on implementation and does not introduce new supply or demand changes. It has limited direct effect on feed commodity prices.
