Federal Milk Marketing Order administrators reported January 2023 uniform prices were lower than December, with seven orders down $1/cwt or more. All FMMO class prices fell in January, mostly to one-year lows.
Producer price differentials were mixed.
Broadly lower uniform and class prices reduce milk revenue for dairy producers. This keeps the dairy price outlook soft and limits support for dairy-related feed demand.
