South Korean feed manufacturer MFG bought 60,000 tonnes of soybean meal from Bangji Company at a CNF price of $430.97 per tonne, including port unloading fees. The cargo is expected to ship from South America in December 2024 and arrive in South Korea around January 28, 2025.
A forward purchase at about $431 per tonne CNF gives a reference price for South American soymeal delivered to Asia. The deal is a routine sale and only a modest signal for overall meal demand.
