Indonesia has postponed the B50 biodiesel mandate for 2026, citing technical readiness and limited funding, after previously planning to start in the second half of the year. It is still raising its palm oil export levy from 10% to 12.5% from March 1.
Delayed biodiesel demand and a higher export levy both reduce Indonesian palm oil's market competitiveness, which is a bearish signal for prices.
