A bipartisan group of 47 lawmakers asked EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin to finalize the proposed record biomass-based diesel volumes and a 50% RIN reduction for imported fuels and foreign feedstocks. A finalized stronger mandate would boost domestic soybean oil demand and support soybean prices, while the import RIN cut would shift feedstock demand toward US crops.
