The European Commission reports that EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes carried about 15% of Ukrainian grain, oilseed and related exports in October 2025, versus about 85% via the Black Sea. Since May 2022 the lanes have enabled roughly 89 million tonnes of grain and oilseed exports.
Rail and road alternatives help offset port disruption but carry far less volume, so the route shift has limited effect on global grain prices.
