Russia's Agriculture Ministry set the July sunflower oil export duty at 3,294.2 rubles per tonne, up from 1,337.5 in June. The meal duty remains zero.
The duty is 70% of the gap between the base price and the monthly indicative price.
The sharply higher oil duty reduces Russian export competitiveness for sunflower oil and supports global sunflower oil prices. The zero meal duty keeps meal exports unaffected.
