Soybean production was 4,253 million bushels, slightly below the 4,265 average forecast, and US corn stocks were 2,154 million bushels, above expectations.
A larger-than-expected corn crop and higher corn stocks add bearish pressure on corn prices. The small soybean shortfall gives only minor support to soybeans.
