The Renewable Fuels Association says U.S. ethanol plants already exceed federal blending requirements and sees growth in domestic and export demand. Mexico has accepted ethanol with limits, and USDA infrastructure funding should add 1,000 to 1,200 E-15 and E-85 stations.
Export and E-15 expansion would support ethanol demand and corn grind over time, which is supportive for corn and DDGS volumes. The effect on near-term prices is limited because the story is about outlook rather than a new policy change.
