US Congressman Randy Feenstra called for cutting or waiving tariffs on Moroccan fertilizer imports to lower costs for American farmers. He cited fertilizer quotes several times higher than in prior seasons.
Several lawmakers, think tanks and farm groups have made similar calls to the administration.
