How are southeastern oats coming along?

A Southeast US agronomist reports good oat crop growth after recovery from a pre-Christmas freeze, with some plant loss on younger plants. Aphids and rust are present, and fungicide timing is advised.

Planting guidance for Deep South oats for grain is also given.
