A cold air mass is forecast to bring a widespread frost to southern Brazil and Paraguay after a stalled front. Most of the safrinha corn in Parana is rated good to excellent, but only about 26% is mature, so the crop remains vulnerable.
The frost threat is larger than an earlier mid-May event.
